Having previously designed and installed an A.V. system at the existing 4 Simply Gyms throughout the UK, we were delighted to strengthen the partnership we have with Bay Leisure Ltd when asked to work on their new gym in Cardiff. Working in the previous Evolution nightclub at the Red Dragon Centre, we worked with the client to get an understanding of what they wanted to achieve. With 20,000 sq ft of space, incorporating a Synergy Life Fitness functional rig, a ladies only training area, a dedicated spinning room with front projection along with all of the usual equipment and facilities, we worked to ensure that we designed a system that would not only be functional and dynamic, but discreet.

As we had previously, we designed a Yamaha audio system consisting of a MTX3 speaker management system with VXS8 speakers and Powersoft Quattrocanali amps. For the programmed Synergy rig, we installed pixel bars and screens, as well as a zonal audio system to give the customers a visual experience whilst working out. Despite the size of the job and the specific tight deadline, we completed the job on time and above the clients expectations. Roll on to the next one
